CARANDA & HERO VAN'T HUKA

ABOUT

Caranda and Hero van't Huka are sold together: a broodmare with her 2026 colt foal.

The mare
Caranda (KWPN, 2007) is an interesting broodmare with a lot of blood. She jumped internationally herself (FEI-registered) and competed at 1.30m level. Her sire Stolzenberg jumped at 1.45m level, is approved by HANN, RHEIN and SWB and is a son of Stakkato (1.60m). Her dam Waranda (Stb.) is a daughter of Now or Never M (1.40m) and competed herself in 1.00m jumping and B-level dressage. Granddam Baranda (pref, ster) produced:

• Alchimist – 1.40m
• Uccello – 1.30m, designated stallion
• Nova As – 1.15m

Great-granddam Jacaranda (keur, pref) is the dam of Feranda (Elite, pref, prest, prok, sport-dressage, Z2 dressage) and Nacaranda (keur, pref). Caranda comes from the Bryolieta family, KWPN mare line 48.

The foal
Hero van't Huka (Castaar Z), born 27-05-2026.
Hero van't Huka is a lovely colt foal who already makes a nice jump, with a good canter and trot. His sire Castaar Z (Zangersheide, 2022) is a son of Corvet. Corvet jumped at 1.60m level himself, is approved by WESTF and is a son of Cornet Obolensky (1.60m). The dam of Castaar Z, Febe van de Merenhoek, is a daughter of Kashmir van Schuttershof (1.60m). Her full brothers Basil della Caccia and Amore jumped at 1.50m and 1.45m level.

Mare and foal are sold together, as one lot. A nice combination for the sport, the amateur or breeding.
